History
The sector Consulting & Technology Transfer has evolved by the merging of TWT AG Technologie- und Wissenstransfer with MicroNova electronic GmbH. TWT AG Technologie- und Wissenstransfer was established in 2000 by ITW/University of Applied Sciences for the purpose of encouraging the collaboration of industry and university.
In 2003, Josef W. Karl took over TWT AG in order to develop it from a pure academic portal to an academic-related consulting firm.
Following a phase of consolidation, the merging with MicroNova electronic GmbH to become MicroNova AG was a logical step in 2008: Ultimately, TWT AG with its workforce and university network was active in the fields of automotive- and information technologies for reputable customers from industry, carried out consulting projects and organized relevant trainings.
