Both companies have an underlying long-term focus – not least thanks to the sustained commitment and determination of owner Josef W. Karl. In order to demonstrate this common identity externally, carts GmbH will change its name to ks.MicroNova GmbH with effect from January 1, 2017.
According to the company management – in both businesses comprising Orazio Ragonesi and Dr. Klaus Eder, as well as Josef W. Karl at carts – it has decided to take this step in order to streamline processes, for example in project execution and quality management, as well as in marketing, organization and administration. There will be no noticeable changes in operational or legal terms. All existing projects will continue on their course without any change to their contractual, project-related or financial nature. The change of name will not bring with it any personnel changes, either.
“It is easier for our customers, partners and employees to use one common name in their everyday activities for products such as NovaCarts, which are already jointly developed and marketed: namely MicroNova,” explains Orazio Ragonesi, who is both Managing Director of carts as well as CEO of MicroNova AG. “Both businesses – ks.MicroNova GmbH and MicroNova AG – will retain their legal form as defined in their articles of incorporation, but will use MicroNova as a brand name to express the simple core message of their corporate identity,” adds Josef W. Karl. “It will be easier to address and execute a large number of tasks internally. And an even deeper sense of the common bond will emerge for all employees.”
