Recorded CAN traces can be conveniently transmitted from the system to relevant computers via all common diagnostic interfaces for evaluation and analysis of the results. Control via NovaCarts test control system in conjunction with a system of operating computer, real-time computer, and vehicle bus node (FBK) enable complete residual bus simulation and model integration. Moreover, the system test benches can be operated with virtual computers in a cloud-based mode. This saves valuable space, as no hardware is required at the test bench, and also allows computing capacities to be optimized through flexible load distribution.
Manually operated switches, levers, and other vehicle components can also be activated via a test automation solution. NovaCarts system test benches have a diagnostic interface (ODIS-E) to allow flashing in combination. All functions of the test bench can be activated automatically via a tool-CAN.
