Enthusiasm for technology and the desire to develop innovative solutions: these two characteristics distinguish not only our employees, but also the members of the Robotics Team at Markt Indersdorf high school. The school is located in the community neighboring MicroNova’s headquarters, and the group has been designing and building impressive robots for many years, repeatedly winning awards at the international “Student Robotics” competition. MicroNova has been supporting the group as a sponsor for several years.
For many years, MicroNova has been supporting TSV Jetzendorf, the local sports club of the company's home-village in Upper Bavaria. MicroNova-founder Josef W. Karl explains: “Being a father from Jetzendorf myself, the outstanding work the club does with young people has convinced me to help my hometown club. 1,500 active members in a community of some 3,000 inhabitants is testament to the impressive commitment and the openness that exist here.”
In order that the club's gymnasts can build on their already remarkable performances, MicroNova supports the club through financial assistance and, perhaps most significantly, through the donation of equipment, sportswear, trophies and medals.
Andreas Mayr, German National Champion 2003 and winner of multiple Bavarian Championships: “MicroNova's commitment is extremely important for gymnastics in Jetzendorf. We are proud that the company identifies itself with Jetzendorfer gymnasts. We know that we can put our trust in a reliable partner. Through our efforts and our success I'm sure that we can also give something back.”
"Healthy, strong and self-confident - that's how children should grow up!" This is the motto of the “Klasse2000” health promotion programme at primary schools. MicroNova is of the same opinion, which is why we are happy to sponsor class 3b of the Vierkirchen primary school for the two school years 2019/20 and 2020/21. The concept of the organization Klasse2000 includes health promotion as well as addiction and violence prevention. Within the framework of the program, the children actively develop numerous knowledge and skills for a healthy life with a lot of fun.
Innovation in the true sense of the word means establishing ideas or inventions - from the idea to implementation and market launch. Thus the support of the TSV Neubiberg-Ottobrunn ring tennis team fits perfectly with MicroNova's commitment, as successful athletes ensure that the up-and-coming sport continues to gain momentum. This is proved amongst others by our colleague Stefan Edelmann, who became team ring tennis world champion in Minsk in 2018. In our video he tells a little more about this sport and the tournament.
