Enthusiasm for technology and the desire to develop innovative solutions: these two characteristics distinguish not only our employees, but also the members of the Robotics Team at Markt Indersdorf high school. The school is located in the community neighboring MicroNova’s headquarters, and the group has been designing and building impressive robots for many years, repeatedly winning awards at the international “Student Robotics” competition. MicroNova has been supporting the group as a sponsor for several years.
For many years, MicroNova has been supporting TSV Jetzendorf, the local sports club of the company's home-village in Upper Bavaria. MicroNova-founder Josef W. Karl explains: “Being a father from Jetzendorf myself, the outstanding work the club does with young people has convinced me to help my hometown club. 1,500 active members in a community of some 3,000 inhabitants is testament to the impressive commitment and the openness that exist here.”
In order that the club's gymnasts can build on their already remarkable performances, MicroNova supports the club through financial assistance and, perhaps most significantly, through the donation of equipment, sportswear, trophies and medals.
Andreas Mayr, German National Champion 2003 and winner of multiple Bavarian Championships: “MicroNova's commitment is extremely important for gymnastics in Jetzendorf. We are proud that the company identifies itself with Jetzendorfer gymnasts. We know that we can put our trust in a reliable partner. Through our efforts and our success I'm sure that we can also give something back.”
MicroNova is officially part of the alliance against insect mortality and decline in species richness. "With the Blühpakt Bayern we want to stop this trend and develop a broad alliance for this purpose." - that's what it says on the Blühpakt Bayern website. MicroNova meets criteria of the Blühpakt and was allowed to receive the award in 2020.
"Healthy, strong and self-confident - that's how children should grow up!" This is the motto of the “Klasse2000” health promotion programme at primary schools. MicroNova is of the same opinion, which is why we are happy to sponsor a class of the Vierkirchen primary school for the two school years 2019/20 and 2020/21. The concept of the organization Klasse2000 includes health promotion as well as addiction and violence prevention. Within the framework of the program, the children actively develop numerous knowledge and skills for a healthy life with a lot of fun.
MicroNova is proud to be a sponsor of the Herkules Racing Team Kassel since the 2020 season. Several hundred universities and colleges compete in the "Formula Student" competition with the racing cars they have designed themselves. In 2019, the Herkules Racing Kassel team competed for the first time with a purely electrically powered vehicle. Every year, students from different disciplines at the University of Kassel work together as a team towards one goal: to design and build a racing car prototype that will achieve a top place at the Formula Student. Fun is never forgotten in the process! MicroNova wishes you continued success!
In 2021, MicroNova got involved for the first time through its Czech subsidiary, with the support of our colleague Stanislav Mayer. The passionate and long-time paraglider pilot was thus able to participate in the "Dolomitenmann", a team event with four extreme sports, with the MicroNova logo proudly presented on his chest: Via mountain running, mountain biking, paragliding and white-water kayaking, the path for the athletes only leads to the goal together - this also characterizes MicroNova: full commitment as a team.

Innovation in the true sense of the word means establishing ideas or inventions - from the idea to implementation and market launch. Thus the support of the TSV Neubiberg-Ottobrunn ring tennis team fits perfectly with MicroNova's commitment, as successful athletes ensure that the up-and-coming sport continues to gain momentum. The proof: in 2018 the team became the ring tennis world champion in Minsk.
