MicroNova Sells Automotive Business to BlueBinaries
Focus on International Expansion: ks.MicroNova—to be known as NovaBinaries—Becomes BlueBinaries’ New German Subsidiary
On September 17, 2026, MicroNova sold the entire automotive business of the MicroNova Group to BlueBinaries Engineering and Solutions GmbH in Munich. This includes the “NovaCarts” hardware-in-the-loop (HiL) product line, the EXAM test automation solution, related test consulting services, and the virtualization portfolio. BlueBinaries is thus driving its international growth in the automotive segment, with Germany serving as its development hub.
With the acquisition of MicroNova technology, BlueBinaries Engineering and Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is expanding its existing (automotive) testing portfolio to include the manufacture of its own HiL systems. The subsidiary, which will operate as NovaBinaries GmbH upon completion of the sale, is thereby consolidating its testing expertise and will have a global presence in the future. Including the test consulting experts, the entire relevant team from MicroNova AG transferred on August 20, 2026, initially to the Kassel-based subsidiary ks.MicroNova GmbH. This approach ensures seamless support for existing users of the HiL systems, the EXAM test automation platform, and the virtualization solutions. The latter will be an essential component of BlueBinaries’ business expansion. This provides the new company with comprehensive development expertise. The entire transaction will be completed during the fourth quarter of 2026.
BlueBinaries Strengthens Automotive Testing Expertise

Enterprise software and telecommunications solutions as growth drivers
The focus here is on ManageEngine’s IT management solutions, for which MicroNova has been the exclusive distribution partner in Germany for over 20 years. Over the past ten years, the business unit has grown from 7 to approximately 50 employees and now serves more than 3,500 customers. During the same period, the business unit’s revenue has increased more than sixfold. MicroNova intends to leverage this potential more consistently in the future and to further expand the business unit in a targeted manner. In addition, the Telco Solutions division has been supporting mobile network operators for decades—from planning to configuration of their Radio Access Network (RAN)—and will continue to do so in the future with a modular approach using our proven product suite for medium-sized and smaller network operators.
